ASRock has very quietly started offering the new low-profile Intel Arc A310 graphics card, aimed primarily at building, upgrading or repairing compact PCs that need basic graphics and solid video playback capabilities, such as office PCs; laptops or computers for a home multimedia experience. The card is by no means intended for running the latest games, but its advantage is compatibility with various desktop systems.

ASRock's Intel Arc A310 Low Profile 4GB graphics card features an Intel ACM-G11 6-core Xe GPU (768 stream processors at 2.0GHz) and features 4GB of GDDR6 memory that uses a 64-bit interface. Although this card has a stripped-down version of the ACM-G11 GPU with lower gaming performance (putting it in a lower class), it still offers superior media processing capabilities with built-in hardware encoding/decoding for popular formats such as AV1, H.264, H.265 and VP9.

In terms of display outputs, the #141 has one DisplayPort 2.0 input with DSC and one HDMI 2.0b connector. It is not mentioned whether DisplayPort supports the transfer technology moreč streams (MST), so it is most likely that the card only supports the simultaneous connection of two displays.

For cooling purposes, it was equipped with two fans and two heat sinks, which, frankly, is excessive for a card that consumes the most 75 W. According to the first information, it seems that ASRock has borrowed the design of the cooler and the PCB from its recently launched Arc A380 low-profile graphics card.

ASRock does not list the price on its website, which is not surprising. Although there aren't many low-profile graphics cards on the market today, there are low-profile Arc A310 boards from various manufacturers. Since it is a lower class card, it is to be expected that the price will also be appropriate.
