Provided that you do not mind that it is a product with open packaging and a possible defect of a cosmetic nature. For most users, this won't be a problem, especially since it's an Amazon product that you can easily return within 30 days.

If you don't mind the open packaging, then you're getting a fantastic computer that you'd normally pay or at least a few hundred more for. After the last check, for example, the same MacBook in Slovenia is available for €1,600 in the iStyle store and €1,250 in mobileshop.eu.

What are its main assets?

The decision not to start producing their own chips was perhaps the best decision Apple has made in recent years. They got rid of their dependence on an external company (Intel) and became even more independent. The fact that they produce some of the best productivity chips is just an added bonus to the company's reputation and the appeal of their computers. The M1 was a good chip, the M2 is even better, and the latest M3 will most likely be aimed at those who need every bit of % power at work.

For just over €1000 on Amazon, you can get a MacBook Air (2022) with M2 čip, with which you will perform most demanding tasks without any problems. You will also be satisfied with the quiet mode of operation and extremely rare moments of overheating. The battery is excellent, and the keyboard is said to be one of the best on the market according to users. The trackpad is also supposed to be free of flies. The rest of the configuration includes another 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of space.

It also has some flaws. The main complaints are the limited selection of connectors (only 2x USB-C) and the ability to connect to only one external display. A faster screen refresh is also missing, but for most business tasks this should not be a big problem.

How do I return an Amazon product?

If you are not satisfied with the computer, you can return it within 30 days. Go to your profile, find the purchase order and fill out the return order form. You will receive a postal label, which you will stick on the packaging and send to the nearest post office. Amazon will initially calculate an approximate return postage cost, which usually matches what you will pay at the post office. If the amount does not match, you can contact support, attach the postage bill and Amazon will refund you the full amount.

If, after the 30-day period has passed, you notice some kind of error that you cannot live with or the computer breaks down, you can claim the warranty as normal. Contact support who will ask for some basic proof and return the product using the above process. If it is an Amazon product, you will very quickly get a replacement product or a full refund. In the case of products with a lower value, it has also happened to customers that they received a replacement product without returning the defective one.

For products from third-party sellers, the waiting period is usually a little longer, and in most cases with a positive outcome.
