MSI has decided to release another 27-inch gaming monitor. This year, the company presented at least half a dozen more examples. They recently introduced the MAG 274URFW model, a 4K 160 Hz model in white, which is not a very common occurrence. This time, he presented the MAG 27C6X model, which is a faster alternative, but with a lower resolution.

The MAG 27C6X prints an image at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, or better said 1080p or FullHD. MSI's product page states that the MAG 27C6X also runs at 240Hz by default with a 1ms MPRT response time. However, it is possible to wind the monitor to 250 Hz if necessary. In addition, MSI has included the #141 adaptive synchronization and AI image enhancement technology.

In addition, the MAG 27C6X relies on VA technology, which provides a decent contrast ratio at the expense of color accuracy. In this case, the curved 1500R monitor delivers a 3000:1 contrast ratio, but only 77% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, so it's immediately clear that it won't be snapped up by designers. In addition, the 10-bit board is said to provide a maximum brightness of 250 nits. Accordingly, the monitor does not support HDR. For now, MSI has set the price of the MAG 27C6X monitor at around $170, which is not excessive considering the specs.

For connecting to external devices, the MSI MAG 27C6X display has one DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.0 connector available. In addition, there is also a 100 x 100 mm VESA interface.
