AMD recently offered for sale two new and powerful graphics cards from the Radeon RX 7000 family for fans of computer games. These are the Radeon RX 7700 XT and Radeon 7800 XT graphics cards, which are still on sale in the European market. The newcomers are based on the GPU Navi-32 graphics core and the RDNA3 architecture. Both graphics cards have two 8-pin power connectors. The Radeon RX 7700 XT model has 12 gigabytes of GDDR6 graphics memory, while the Radeon 7800 XT model has as much as 16 gigabytes of GDDR6 graphics memory.

As gamers have welcomed the Radeon RX 7700 XT and Radeon 7800 XT graphics cards with open arms, competitor Nvidia has announced a new graphics card from the GeForce RTX 4000 family. This is the powerful GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card. This one, which will most likely be available for purchase as early as January next year. This will be available in two versions, namely with 16 gigabytes and 20 gigabytes of fast GDDR6 graphics memory.

The GeForce RTX 4080 Ti graphics card is said to have a renewed AD102 graphics core for the purpose. This will be manufactured using 5-nanometer technology and bp will have 14080 CUDA cores available for data processing. The maximum consumption of electrical energy is supposed to be 400 watts. HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4a connectors will be available for rendering images. The novelty will of course be intended for larger and lighter receiver cases, as it will measure as much as 336 mm x 140 mm x 61 millimeters.
