Spotify is certainly the most famous and largest music service in the world, which offers an excellent user experience. Although some competitors offer higher sound quality, more intuitive use and connectivity with other devices, Spotify is still number one. From the second half of 2020, it will also be available in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, North Macedonia and other countries around the world.

Paid Spotify currently uses several than 2000 million users worldwide. Therefore, they will not be thrilled that the company has announced a price increase for their subscription packages. The Spotify company justifies the price increase by saying that only in this way will it be able to provide better services to users.

The monthly Premium Individual subscription has increased from 9.99 euros to 10.99 euros. Premium Duo subscription now costs 14.99 euros, but before it was only 12.99 euros. The price of the Premium Family service also increased by two euros, which now costs 17.99 euros instead of 15.99 euros. The Premium Student subscription intended for students has risen in price by one euro, from 4.99 euros to 5.99 euros. Of course, users are not enthusiastic about the price increases. Therefore, experts are convinced that Spotify could lose part of its customers due to the increase in prices.

Prices of Spotify low-cost subscription packages:

  • Premium Individual: 10.99 euros
  • Premium Duo: 14.99 euros
  • Premium Family: 17.99 euros
  • Premium Student: 5.99 euros
