The company OnePlus recently offered for sale another, cheaper model. This is the OnePlus Nord N30 SE 5G smartphone. This is actually a premium phone with budget hardware based on the Oppo A79 5G smartphone. The latter is only available on the Indian market, but the new OnePlus Nord N30 SE 5G will also be available elsewhere in the world, including the European market.

The latest OnePlus Nord N30 SE 5G phone could shake things up in the mid-range segment dominated by Redmi phones and Samsung's A-rated aliens. Its main advantage is price. The initial retail price abroad is around an estimated 150 euros for the configuration of 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space. There is also support for the 5G network. Not bad. The configuration with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of data storage space is still available for an estimated 221 euros. It will easily cope with more demanding tasks.

Engineers have equipped the OnePlus Nord N30 SE 5G phone with a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor. As already mentioned, it supports 5G mobile networks, in addition, the phone is equipped with a screen with a 17.1-centimeter or 6.72-inch diagonal, FHD+ resolution. and a refresh rate of 60 hertz or 90 hertz. The phone is understandably aimed at basic users, although we see no reason why it shouldn't also be used for playing mobile games at a lower resolution.

To capture photos and videos, two cameras are built into the OnePlus Nord N30 SE 5G smartphone, with a resolution of 50 million and two million pixels. The latter is a depth sensor and can hardly be classified as a camera. Only the main camera will be useful, and then more or less only in daylight.

For video calls, the phone has a front camera with a resolution of eight million pixels. There is even a special Ultra-Clear Image algorithm that "changes" photos to an apparent resolution of 108 million points. To see how this will work or look like in practice, we will have to wait.

The OnePlus Nord N30 SE 5G smartphone is equipped with a 5,000 milliampere hour battery with 33 watt fast charging technology (SuperVOOC). This should be enough for at least a full day's use, if not maybe half a day more.
