The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 is the long-awaited upgrade

The middle class of telephony is becoming more and more interesting. Phones are getting more powerful, bigger. as decent photographers and design beautiful. But the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor is coming, which promises the expected upgrades that will make mid-range phones even more attractive to the masses.

One of the most interesting rumors is that the 7+ Gen 3 could inherit the architecture design of the current most powerful Android processor Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This could mean a similar configuration of cores, including a powerful Cortex-X4 core, five medium-performance Cortex-A720 cores and two efficient Cortex-A520 cores.

Understandably, they will have to accept some compromises if they want to use the chip in the middle class. Speculations point to possible compromises in graphics processing or reduced AI capabilities.

Expectations are high. All signs suggest that this could be a chip that will provide a bigger performance leap and perhaps also reduce the connector behind the premium class. The current Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 version is also a very good chip, but it can only be found in a few devices, such as Xiaomi and Realme. The third generation, if it will deliver what it promised, must be more affordable if it wants to make a difference in this class.

The first smartphones equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 mobile processor will soon be offered for sale by Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo, Honor and Vivo. This should happen even before the beginning of summer. The first phone equipped with the new čip will most likely be the POCO F6.
