Seagate with the most spacious hard drive for a very affordable price
The amount of data in the world will increase by an average of 61 percent in the next six years. In the course of next year, it should grow to as much as 175 zettabytes globally; the share of data that is processed immediately will reach almost a third by then. Therefore, it is not surprising that there is never enough space for data storage, and the space on Solid State drives is still not up to the demands of the most demanding users.
The leading manufacturers of hard drives are therefore preparing more and more powerful products as if on a conveyor belt. Seagate engineers are currently leading the way in this field, as they developed a new technology some time ago, with the help of which they produced the first hard disk with a capacity of 22 terabytes, which is already intended for sale to data centers. Recently, however, they offered for sale the first hard disk that can store as much as 30 terabytes.
The Seagate Exos X Mosaic 3+ hard drive is equipped with as many as 10 magnetic disks with a capacity of three terabytes. That translates to an impressive 1,742 terabytes per square inch. In addition, the novelty also has a built-in controller made with the help of #141 12-nanometer technology, which is 3 times more energy efficient compared to the previous generation. Therefore, the novelty consumes relatively little electrical energy in operation.
The spacious hard drive Seagate Exos X Mosaic 3+ will be cheap for the purpose. For around a terabyte of space, companies will only have to pay around a calculated 13.77 euros. This means that a 30 terabyte hard disk will be sold in the United States of America for only an estimated 412 euros.
