Asus presented its first ROG NUC computer at CES 2024. At the time, it did not reveal the price, but now it is rumored that it will cost us around 2500 euros for the #141 version with an Intel Ultra 9 185H processor and #141 graphics. RTX 4070 card. It will certainly not be the biggest sales hit, but maybe it will impress enthusiasts who prefer smaller computers. A cheaper version with a Core Ultra 7 155H processor and RTX 4060 graphics should also be available at the same time. It is not known how much cheaper it will be, but it is expected to be around 300-500 euros.

Regardless of the price, the 2.5-liter ROG NUC looks like an impressive little computer. The specifications of the unit are not excessiveč demanding, so cooling and noise should not be a problem. You can install up to 64GB of DDR5 memory (SO-DIMM), three PCIe Gen 4 SSD drives, and it also has support for WiFi 6E, 2.5GB LAN and Thunderbolt 4/USB 4. The latter supports DP 2.1, which together with dual DP 1.4a and one HDMI input means that the ROG NUC supports up to four displays.

The ROG NUC is Asus' first NUC following the announcement of its partnership with Intel. The two companies have agreed that Asus will sell and support the 10th to 13th generation NUC product lines, while providing Asus with a non-exclusive license to design systems such as the ROG NUC. In the future, we hope for more similar computers and maybe even Strix and TUF versions.
