The Apple M2 Ultra čip was unveiled at the WWDC 2023 event. It will initially be available in the Mac Studio model as well as the Mac Pro model. The Apple M2 Ultra is described as the most powerful chip Apple has ever created. In fact, this is supposed to be the most powerful chip you can find in a PC, or so Apple claims.

The Apple M2 Ultra is based on the second generation of Apple Silicon architecture and shares the same architecture as the M2, M2 Pro and M2 Max. The Apple M2 Ultra processor is only available in two devices: Mac Studio and Mac Pro. However, it will only be available in higher-end Mac Studio configurations.

Both devices will be available in June 2023.

Apple M2 Ultra čip is based on the second generation of Apple Silicon architecture, but has a larger matrix than the standard M2 processor, on which Apple has included as many as #141;134 billion transistors.

Apple has packed a 24-core CPU and a whopping 76 graphics cores onto the chip, but the number of GPU cores can vary depending on the configuration. Apple claims the CPU on the M2 Ultra is up to 20 % faster than the M2 Max, and the GPU has even gained a 30 % speed boost.

The M2 Ultra supports up to 192 GB of unified memory and has a memory bandwidth of 800 GB/s.

There is no doubt that this is the most powerful processor that Apple has ever created, and therefore it is recommended especially for those who need extremely powerful power. to perform tasks such as content creation.
