The new iMac with the all-new M3 processor

You are surely familiar with the fact that Apple recently introduced a new generation of its own processor with the designation M3. The novelty is manufactured using advanced 3-nanometer technology, which is an extraordinary achievement in the field of processor technology. Apple presented three models of the new M3 family of processors, namely M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max. Compared to the previous generation of Apple's M2 processors, these bring both greater capacity and more energy-efficient operation.

After a long wait, iMac users also received good news that the latest M3 processor is also coming to their favorite devices.  

The M3 has an octa-core CPU, up to a 10-core GPU, support for up to 24GB of RAM, and 2TB of storage. This should mean a much faster all-in-one PC. Productivity apps like Safari or Microsoft Excel are said to run up to 30 percent faster. For creators, the new čip enables up to 12 streams of video in 4K quality, and Adobe Photoshop should process photos up to twice as fast. It also offers support for Wi-Fi 6E.

Visually, the 24-inch iMac doesn't change anything. It is still available in seven colors: green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue and silver. With a thickness of 11.5 mm, it is still thin, has white frames and that "beard" still remains. It also has a 1080p camera, quality speakers, microphones, different configurations of USB ports and a 4.5K Retina display (same as before). 

One thing has changed, however – the new M3 iMacs will feature more recycled materials. The stand, for example, is now made of 100 percent recycled aluminum. The iMac uses recycled rare earth magnets, recycled tin solder and 100% recycled gold plating on the printed circuit boards in the iMac chassis.
