An outstanding 5G processor for budget smartphones

The MediaTek company recently presented a very interesting model of the Dimensity family of mobile processors. It is a Dimensity 6100 Plus processor. This will be intended for devices of the lower and middle price range, and the performance will be comparable to that of the devices of the highest price range. The novelty is indeedč manufactured using 6-nanometer technology and offers support for 5G mobile networks.

The Dimensity 6100 Plus mobile processor will be powerful enough even for the most demanding tasks. This is indeedč equipped with two Cortex-A76 processor cores with a frequency of 2.2 gigahertz and six energy-saving Cortex-A55 processor cores with a frequency of two gigahertz. The quad-core Arm Mali-G57 MC2 graphics processor is up to the task of more demanding graphic content and mobile games.

The interesting mobile processor MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus offers additional support for LPDDR4x system memories and the UFS 2.2 data system. The novelty can easily handle 2K resolution and supports up to four digital cameras with a total resolution of 108 megapixels. As for screens, the novelty supports resolutions of up to 2,520 x 1,080 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120 hertz.

The Dimensity 6100 Plus mobile processor has already been delivered by MediaTek to selected Android smartphone manufacturers. This means that the first phones equipped with it will go on sale towards the end of this autumn. Here, of course, it will be about Android smart mobile phones of the lower and middle price range, which will handle even the most demanding tasks without any problems.
