The Blue Screen of Death has been accompanying users of Windows operating systems since 1985. It warns the operating system of a serious error that prevented it from functioning flawlessly. Although users of Windows operating systems have somewhat forgotten about it, it could soon become part of everyday life for users of the popular open source Linux operating systems.

The well-known blue screen of death for the open source Linux operating system is currently in the experimental phase. ÄŒIf this works, it will be much more useful than the one we are used to within the Windows operating system. This will show the user specific information about the error, including a QR code. This means that the user will get all the key information about the error directly from the computer screen.

As mentioned above, the blue screen of death for Linux operating systems is currently still in the experimental phase. Therefore, it is currently difficult to predict when this will come to life in practice. But if this actually happens, the novelty will definitely be sent to more and more distributions of the Linux operating system, such as, for example, Ubuntu.
