Copilot now also in Microsoft Photos
The Photos app is probably one of the most overlooked apps in Windows 11 in terms of new features and updates, at least until late last year when Microsoft introduced AI capabilities to the platform, including support for removing and replacing image backgrounds.
But now it looks like the company will be adding more features to the Photos app in Windows 11. the goodness of artificial intelligence. According to Windows enthusiast PhantomOfEarth on the X portal (formerly Twitter), the Copilot plug-in is built into the Photos application, which uses the GPT-4 (Turbo) and DALL-E 3 language models to operate. The new plug-in is said to helped with tasks such as creating slideshows and setting desktop backgrounds on a Windows computer.Â
The Copilot digital assistant is currently available in conjunction with the Photos application version 2024.11030.22001.0. In addition, the new option is limited only to a certain group of users. Gradually, it will become available to others.
