Microsoft will revamp the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles

Microsoft is planning to refresh the Xbox Series X console with a completely new design and functions for next year. It is being developed under the code name Brooklin. The revamped console has not yet been officially presented, but was inadvertently revealed in court documents submitted as evidence in the legal battle between the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the tech giant.

The new Xbox Series X design will be much more round (cylinder) compared to the existing one and will be launched without a disc drive. In Microsoft's internal confidential documents, the company reveals that the console will have 2 TB of storage (increased from 1 TB), and the USB-C port will have the option of power. They will renovate or make a brand new Xbox controller. A new controller (development code Sebille) will be announced towards the end of the year and will include the #141 accelerator to support the gyroscope.

It will have a two-tone scheme, support direct cloud connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2 and, in all likelihood, an updated Xbox Wireless 2 connection. Microsoft also states that they have improved haptic (physical) feedback, part of the haptic the system will also have speakers.
