Toyota has unveiled a new NASCAR racing car

Toyota has unveiled a new NASCAR racing car

At Toyota this year they decided to revamp the look of their Camry model, which will also bring changes and improvements to their cars in the NASCAR world. This will greatly improve aerodynamics, which is one of the most important features if they want to compete with other racing cars. Despite everything, Toyota decided that the additions would be of a balanced nature and they would not approach the changes too much. one way.

An insight into the exterior

Let's take a closer look at the car. Compared to the previous model, the engine mask has a slightly more rectangular shape and is no longer so many “oblin” as with the previous model. In addition to the shape of the mask, they added new output channels, which are comparatively narrower. These ducts are especially important in the most powerful cars, because how the air moves around the car and the associated aerodynamics depend on them.

Changes were also made to the bumper, which shows that Toyota really focused on better aerodynamics, or the movement of air around the car. It repelsč is a partial element of production cars that has been optimized specifically for the racing car. The lower part of the bumper has steps that redirect the air to such an extent that, compared to its predecessor, it will stand much more firmly on the asphalt. Minor changes are noticeable on the side of the vehicle, otherwise the car is more leveled, not more all known bumps, which to some extent probably spoiled the air flow of the car a little. The rear part, however, did not receive as much attention compared to the front part. Here and there they fixed minor €œerrors” and made the car a little lighter.

Toyota has really committed to its racing car and tried to improve it on many levels compared to its opponents. According to what was presented from the Toyota side, it looks like the numbers are maximized to the point that they are still within the allowed for a NASCAR race car and I believe that in the future Toyota's race cars will be much more competitive. New models will drive firstč to the track in the coming days when pre-season testing awaits them.
