What are Google's top and worst rated Android apps?
For most users, many of the apps they use on their Android phones are created by Google. Here's an unofficial look at how Android users rate Google's top apps, and the top-rated apps are a bit surprising.
For this rating review, only the "phone" category was taken into account, namely in the US, where Google a few years ago set a total rating of 1â5 for each country and format.
The worst Google apps
Start with the worst, which is the application Device Utility with 2.1 stars and a little more than 2500 marks. This application was created based on a lawsuit by Sonos and allows you to pair Google Home devices with older software.

- Authenticator â 3.6 and 455,000 ratings
- Wear OS â 3.6 with 271,000 ratings â as everything shows, the application is under repair
- Pixel Watch â 3.6 and 2,230 reviews
The best Google apps
Google's best and most popular applications go up to a score of 4.0 and well above that number. Despite everything, some well-known applications fall just below this limit and are at 3.9: Google TV and Recorder.

The top rated apps created by Google are rated 4.7. Two are for phones, including Play Books with 2.26 million ratings. This application is fundamentally solid and reliable, and is used for reading and listening to audiobooks. It recently got a new icon and better management of the library when long pressing on covers.
Next is Socratic, a homework helper that Google bought in 2018 and updated in 2019/20. Some of these capabilities are now integrated into the Google Lens homework filter.
