What can we expect from gaming on the PlayStation 5 Pro?

The powerful gaming console PlayStation 5 Pro has been talked about for a long time on the Internet. If everything goes according to luck, it will be available for purchase at the end of this year. The novelty is said to have 4 times greater capacity for shading content while playing computer games compared to today's PlayStation 5 console. The console's performance itself is said to be greater. than twice as much.

But more performance won't necessarily lead to higher quality gaming. Current games that are limited to 30 frames per second will no longer be able to run at 60 frames per second. The reasons for this are mainly to be found in the limitations of the built-in processor. This one will indeed only slightly more powerful compared to the one found in the classic PlayStation 5 consoles. This means that the performance of the new PlayStation 5 Pro gaming console will only be able to benefit from certain games or new games that will be completely adapted to be more powerful the hardware of the new gaming console.

If online rumors are to be believed, the new gaming console will be equipped with an AMD processor with eight special Zen 2 processor cores and an RDNA 3 graphics card with as many as 30 active graphics cores and 16 gigabytes of GDDR6 graphics memory. The processor will certainly cope with more demanding tasks, as it should be able to reach an operating frequency of up to four gigahertz under full load. The processor of the standard PlayStation 5 console reaches the maximum #141; 3.5 gigahertz.

Therefore, it is not surprising that the graphics performance of the PlayStation 5 Pro gaming console is said to be comparable even to the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT graphics card. This means that the graphics capacity of the new product will be almost twice as much as the current gaming console PlayStation 5. It should actually be able to run console games in both 4K and 8K resolution with ray-tracing technology. Playing in the highest resolution will of course take place at lower graphics settings. But as already mentioned, many existing games will not be able to use the more powerful new hardware.
