5 Android Apps You Shouldn't Miss This Week (Part 97)

We've decided to introduce you to 4 games and one app to keep you up-to-date on Android software development.
5 Android Apps You Shouldn't Miss This Week (Part 97)

GOPilotX

Price: Free, but registration is required

First on this list is the GoPilotX application, which was recently tested by Android Authority. It is a tool for tracking your runs. The Android Authority team didn't have enough time to evaluate it qualitatively, especially the performance of its artificial intelligence features and feedback from the app. During a few days of test use, it offered basic information about average speeds, and it aroused interest in regularly recording runs. Although it's too early to draw conclusions, GOPilotX seems like an interesting app worth checking out, especially since it promises new features every week.

Frontline Hero: Epic War Games

Price: Free with in-app purchases

The next application is Frontline Hero, which combines elements of tower defense, RPG and gacha genres. Although the story is limited, it takes place in a futuristic world with unique anime-character graphics. The main task in the game is to defend your team from waves of enemies, while using different strategies. Players can customize their "captain" and other characters. At times, the user experience seems overwhelming hectic, but the game is attractive especially for those who enjoy similar games.

Phantom Blade: Executioners

Price: Free with in-app purchases

We are still with the Phantom Blade: Executioners application. A unique side-scrolling kung-fu action game with some of the best character designs and artwork we've seen in a while. The story is also quite impressive, as it revolves around a conspiracy that threatens the whole world.

Although we can have a lot of fun while playing, the experience is not perfect. Everyone who has tested Phantom Blade: Executioners so far has encountered some bugs and significant lag. However, Google Play reviews show that device performance can vary significantly, so your experience may be more stable. Anyway, it's still a new game, so hopefully future updates will provide a more stable experience for everyone.

Coromon

Price: Free or $4.99 to unlock full game

Fourth on this list is Cormon. A game that obviously takes a lot of inspiration from Nintendo's Pokemon series, but that doesn't mean it isn't fun. Even the intro feels like an older Pokemon game. The script is based on a story where we are put in the role of a young child who lives at home with his mother, until he suddenly leaves for a new job that changes everything. Overall, this is the closest approximation of a retro-style Pokemon game you'll find officially on Android outside of an emulator. However, be careful as the free version is more like a demo and the full game costs $5. ÄŒIf you love Pokemon, it's probably worth investing that money.

Metrics

Price: Free with in-app purchases

Last on today's list is Metria. When you are the firstč run, you will most likely be reminded of the game Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Despite the similar elements and sounds, there are some basic differences. There is no mechanic, no swimming, no climbing, and the world is only partially open. There are also loads of loading screens. You also play more as one character, as the story develops, so Metria contains several moreč of JRPG elements like Zelda.
