A powerful miniature personal computer for your pocket

Miniature computers for work and entertainment can be long and often relatively slow due to their limited dimensions. This is by no means the case for the miniature computer Mercury EM680 from Minisforum. The novelty is indeedč powerful enough to be used both for work and for fun. An estimated 370 euros will have to be deducted abroad for the entry-level version.

The Minisforum Mercury EM680 PC can easily run the latest operating systems such as Windows 11 and open source distributions of the Linux operating system. This is not surprising, since the #141 uses a powerful AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor with eight Zen 3+ processor cores to process data. The graphics content is accompanied by an integrated RDNA 3 Radeon 780M graphics card. Everything is contained in a compact computer case that measures only 80 x 80 x 43 millimeters, so we will even be able to carry it around.

The Minisforum Mercury EM680 mini computer can be equipped with a Solid State drive and DDR5 system memory. Since the AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor heats up a bit during operation, active cooling is also available, but it is barely audible. On it we find a rich range of connectors, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless connections. In short, everything we need for both serious work and relaxing fun. The entry-level version of the Minisforum Mercury EM680 miniature computer with 16 gigabytes of system memory and 512 gigabytes of storage space is valued at an estimated 370 euros, which is actually not much for a powerful computer.
