Apple has made in-house repairs possible even for newer devices
You probably still remember that for a long time Apple made it fairly difficult to repair devices in-house, while repairs in licensed service centers were usually not exactly cheap. Large amounts of glue, non-standard screws and complicated internal structure of the device often made it difficult to replace batteries, screens or other parts of the device. In addition, various error messages began to appear on the device's screen, and certain functions simply stopped working.
In 2022, however, there was an incredible turnaround, at least when it comes to newer Apple devices. The computer giant is namely made a statement announcing the start of the self-service repair program. This program has allowed customers who feel they can do it, to rent all the necessary tools and purchase original replacement parts to perform a DIY repair at home.
Apparently, Apple will continue with its own repair policy. This program was indeedÄ recently extended to the latest computer systems from the computer giant equipped with the M3 processor. These are the 14-inch MacBook Pro, 16-inch MacBook Pro and “iMac” which use M3, M3 Pro, and/or M3 Max processors for data processing.
The in-house repair program is available both in the United States of America and in selected European countries. Slovenia is among them. Spare parts for our Apple devices can be ordered at https://selfservicerepair.eu/sl-SI/order
