Unnamed sources have revealed to 9to5mac that a major smartphone announcement is expected to take place on September 13 – employees are urged not to take leave during this time. This information came from several places and from quite reliable sources.

At the moment, we cannot say with certainty that this is Apple's traditional event. All things considered, it seems very unlikely that Apple would prepare so much for the release of a competitor's device, and it will be even more eye-opening that Apple is supposed to order employees to at this time they don't go on vacation.

The iPhone is Apple's best-selling device and the most popular smartphone in the US – and watching the latest model that Tim Cook and team present is always exciting. The Apple Watch Series 9 and maybe even the AirPods Max 2 are also likely to make an appearance.
