Cheap Netflix already impressed five million users
At the end of last year, Netflix refreshed its offer. It has introduced a special form of subscription package, which is also the most affordable. In exchange for a lower price, advertisements are shown to the user during the playback of video content. According to the company, these ads should not be overly intrusive.
The cheapest subscription to the classic Netflix in Europe is currently 8.99 euros, but with the introduction of advertisements it has become slightly lower. For Netflix with ads, it is only 5.49 euros must be deducted. These are currently limited to four minutes for every hour of video playback. Netflix plays different commercials so that one or two are not repeated all the time, which should at least slightly improve the user experience. It is also interesting and user-friendly that there are no ads during the playback of content, when it is first available to the publicÄ.
As everything shows, the cheaper Netflix has accumulated even more than five million users worldwide. The fact that they managed to achieve this only in the first six months after the official announcement is even more telling. The average age of users who opt for a cheaper subscription is 34 years old. It is also interesting to note that a quarter of new subscribers currently opt for the cheaper Netflix with ads, which exceeded even the most optimistic forecasts. Therefore, Netflix will most likely introduce the new subscription gradually in all countries in which it is present.
