Excellent Xiaomi Book 14 laptop

Xiaomi has announced a new laptop for the global market, the Xiaomi Book 14, which was recently added to the manufacturer's global website. The laptop is available in two versions and largely resembles the Redmi Book 14, which was launched in China a while ago.

The more powerful and more expensive version of the Xiaomi Book 14 laptop is equipped with an Intel Core i5-12500H processor with a frequency of up to 4.5 GHz and an integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics card. There is also 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB of storage space on a PCIe 4.0 SSD drive.

As another option, the manufacturer offers the Xiaomi Book 14 with an Intel Core i3-1220P processor, which also comes from Intel's 12th generation and can be clocked up to 4.4 GHz. It is flanked by an Intel UHD Graphics card, 8 GB of LPDDR5 memory and a PCIe 4.0 SSD drive with a capacity of 256 GB.

In both cases, the new Xiaomi Book 14 has a 14-inch screen with a resolution of 2.8K (2880 x 1800) and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It achieves a brightness of 300 nits, has a contrast ratio of 1,500:1 and covers 100 % of the sRGB color space.

In addition to a battery with a capacity of 56 Wh, which provides up to almost 12 hours of operation, various connections are also available, such as HDMI 2.1 and USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The laptop comes with a 100 W power supply and a pre-installed Windows 11 Home operating system.

Unfortunately, the global website does not reveal the prices of the two versions of the Xiaomi Book 14 laptop, nor is there any information about the dates of the start of sales in other countries outside of China.
