Gigabyte introduced QD-OLED monitor

Those of you who follow the field of monitors have certainly already heard of QD-OLED panels. Dell was among the first to bring them to the class of 27-inch screens and added even higher refresh rates (360 Hz). The price was not friendly to buyers, but the first testers of new technology almost always whistle at the price. Since then, other manufacturers have woken up and the prices of such monitors are now falling. MSI presented its candidate last month, which is a good hundred cheaper than Dell's. 

Now it's Gigabyte's turn. The Gigabyte AORUS FO27Q3 (manufacturers are still not good at naming monitors) uses Samsung's third-generation QD-OLED panel. The resolution is 1440p, and the refresh rate is the same as for similar models of high 360 Hz. If you want to achieve this kind of frequency in games, you will need a decent graphics card, and that's only in games like Doom Eternal, PUBG, Counter Strike and the like. The response time is super short, around 0.03 milliseconds, but the average will definitely be a bit higher. 

The connectors of the new monitor include DisplayPort 1.4, VESA mount adapter, 3.5 mm headphone jack, USB Type-C, 2x HDMI 2.1, 3x USB 3.0. It supports 99 % DCI-P3 color gamut and 10-bit colors, if of course this is important to you when playing games. To protect the #141;s eyes, OLED care technology is integrated, which reduces harmful blue light.

The biggest fans of computer games do not swear by compromises. Especially with things like computer screens. More than the network screen refresh rate and the lower the delay time, the better the result when playing computer games. This is also the main reason why the Gigabyte company also decided to prepare, according to many, one of the best curved computer screens for modern and graphically rich games €“ Aorus FO27Q3.

The new Gigabyte Aorus FO27Q3 is still available in foreign markets. Its retail price is expected to be at the competitive level, around 700-800 euros.
