At first glance, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra looks fantastic
Motorola in more regions is preparing for the presentation of the Edge 50 series. This is expected in the beginning of April. The Ultra model appeared online even before the launch.
The upcoming Edge 50 series will probably have at least three models, while the Motorola Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Fusion models are mentioned, as confirmed by the developer himself. Thanks to whistleblowers, some official information has also been published online. The famous whistler Evan Blass and the Android Headlines portal even got their hands on some promotional materials, including photos and videos.
Blass published moreÄ videos of what appears to be marketing material for the Edge 50 Ultra. The first shot confirms a slightly curved display accompanied by very minimal bezels.
Even at first glance, the design reminds us of the older series of Samsung Galaxy S10 phones or the newer series of Redmi phones. On the back, the phone has a textured finish, and the #141's camera housing seamlessly blends into the rear bezel, echoing the company's updated design language seen on phones like the Moto G 5G 2024.
The case has three cameras on the back, and a noticeable selfie camera on the front screen. The second trailer from Blass for the Edge 50 Ultra phone highlights the amazing bright screen and stereo speakers.
The following three videos suggest that the device will have solid screen protection and will be water resistant. What about cameras? Allegedly, the phone will have a 50 MP primary camera along with a periscope lens, a secondary camera and laser autofocus between the two sensors. We can also expect all the other specifications that make the phone Ultra: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 512 GB of space (UFS 4.0) and 12 to 16 GB of RAM.
Android Headlines also shared renders of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, revealing some high-quality images of the device from all angles. We expect the Ultra to be available in three colors: Peach Fuzz, Black and Light Beige. The first two will likely have a vegan leather finish, while the light beige will likely be seen in a textured finish.
