What will the paid Google Chrome bring?

Google has introduced plans to increase security in companies with a special new version of the Chrome browser.

Chrome Enterprise Premium, which was presented at the Google Cloud Next 24 conference, wants to offer an additional level of protection to the browser itself.

As users around the world access the Chrome browser on their mobile and workplace devices and on a variety of software versions and platforms, the company says Chrome Enterprise Premium offers a number of tools to ensure that this access secure at all levels.

"Browsers are more than just a portal to access the Internet: they are the new endpoint where almost all high-value business activities and interactions take place," Parisa Tabriz, vice president of Google's Chrome division, wrote in her blog.

"Authentication, access, communication and collaboration, management and even coding are all browser-based activities in the modern enterprise."

The company says its launch builds on the initial set of services offered by Chrome Enterprise, which provides a number of management tools for IT and security teams.

However, there will also be some new additions, including advanced enterprise control, which allows companies to enforce policies, manage software updates and expand to comply with their internal policies. Enhanced threat and data protection will make it possible to better prevent data loss and prevent malware, and anti-phishing protection with artificial intelligence will also be available.

The platform, which can integrate with other Google and third-party security solutions, will also enable better security insights and reporting, including event reporting, on devices and forensic capabilities for enterprise-wide transparency.

There will also be support for scaling access control to web applications based on context, enabling continuous, trustless access to SaaS and web applications.
