Lenovo has announced the new gaming laptop Legion 9i, which will hit the market in October - with a dizzying price of around 5,000 euros. Legion 9i is the first #141;16-inch gaming laptop with a built-in liquid cooling system. This system allows the laptop to consume large amounts of power (up to 230W according to the company) for an incredible gaming experience.

Although liquid cooling has been used in notebooks before, Lenovo claims that the Legion 9i does not need an additional external device for cooling. The question is how much this system will actually improve the already effective cooling that Lenovo offers in its past models.

The Legion 9i will have a unique design with a forged carbon fiber body and a Mini-LED screen with a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The screen has a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 94% screen-to-body ratio, which is quite impressive for a gaming laptop. For this price, we understandably expect that the computer will be equipped with the most powerful graphics card on the market, which is currently the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090. This has also been officially confirmed by Lenovo. RAM capacity will stop at 64GB (DDR5 of course) and storage at 2TB.

Regarding the processor, opinions are divided. The 13th generation Intel Core i9-13980HX, which is the most powerful mobile processor from Intel, will be installed. Still, it looks like AMD's new čip 7945HX3D, coming soon, will outperform Intel's beast in testing.

At the moment, the Legion 9i is mainly an opportunity for Lenovo to show how efficient their new cooling system is. If you have enough money to buy it, this is definitely one of the most advanced gaming devices on the market.
